Emergency Entry Visa
Where a person appears before an Immigration officer and does not have a visa, an Emergency Entry Visa (EEV) or Visa on Arrival may be granted, subject to conditions as prescribed in the Regulations, and to other conditions that the Immigration officer may impose.
ECOWAS member states and other selected countries in Africa are exempted from obtaining a visa but may be granted entry subject to prescribed conditions. Similarly, holders of Diplomatic or Service Passports of selected countries, persons in direct airside transit, as well as holders of official passports of some specialized agencies are exempted from obtaining a visa.
REQUIREMENTS FOR EMERGENCY ENTRY VISA (EEV)/ VISA ON ARRIVAL
1. Submit an application letter addressed to:

ACCRA.
Stating the country of origin where the person is coming from
date of arrival
duration of stay
purpose of visit
travel itinerary
place of lodging.
a. ATTACH THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS FOR BUSINESS ENTITY APPLICATION:
i. Certificate to commence business
ii. Certificate of incorporation
iii. Company code
iv. Tax clearance certificate
v. Bio data page of host
vi. Bio data page of guest/ visiting person
b. Alternatively, attach the following for personal application;
i. Bank statement
ii. Bio data page of host
iii. Bio data page of guest/ visiting person
iv. Flight itinerary
v. Guest hotel reservation
