Extension of visitor’s visa/permit may be granted on application. Ghana Immigration Service may extend such visa’s up to a minimum period of three (3) months initially and a maximum of six (6) months.
NB: employment is restricted while on visitor’s permit.

Requirements:
1. Fill an Extension Form (link)
2. Application letter
3. Attach two (2) recent passport size pictures
4. Photocopy of return ticket
5. Letter of support from local institution/establishment (where applicable).
6. Copy of EV (if any) Host should apply for the guest
7. Copy of non-citizen identification card (more than 3 months)
8. Application should be submitted with passport.
